And then there are the times when I left my camera at home, occasions wherein shooting away at food is deemed impolite, times when I was so engrossed with my steak I found it too painful to pause and take photos…
And times when I was so engrossed with my hot date I couldn’t bear to take my eyes off him.
Yeah, whatever.
The secret to great steaks
It’s been a while since my last visit, so I’m taking pictures of tonight’s dishes. (My camera is ecstatic!)
As always, from bread to dessert, everything is perfect.
Sourdough with butter, olive tapenade and sundried tomato puree
Beurre d’Isigny, all the way from France
Auntie Babyruth orders Oysters Rockefeller for everyone to try
(Dear Fireplace, please bring back the Oyster Festival)

Millionaire’s Salad which I share with Auntie BR
Lobster Bisque which I share with Tiffi
A 10-ounce Ribeye which I share with NoOne.
Tiffi and Edi share an order, Auntie BR, like me, has one to herself.
(Auntie BR, what ever happened to our salad dinner???)
Lito and Tintin each has a Tasting Plate of American Wagyu 6+
Sauces: Green Peppercorn, Mushroom, Red Wine
I promise you won’t need them.
Potato Gratin is rich and creamy
Chocolate Soup is pure indulgence
I end the great meal with coffee and chocolates
We eat food, food, food.
We talk food, food, food.
