Coutume Cafe ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

DSC1785

I was on my way to dinner when I passed by this place. It was so white and bright inside
it looked like heaven.

DSC1806

I had to go in, because, well, angels belong in there! ;)

DSC1809

The white counter tiles and white Synesso machine are my objects of desire

DSC1801

These, too - sandwiches, cakes, pastries, scones

DSC1798

Coutume's design is so minimalist yet so chic. Why am I not surprised to learn that
this brand is from Paris?

DSC1796

There was also a baby Probat on display

DSC1816

Light!

DSC1817

More lights hanging on a towel rack. This is too cool!

DSC1800

Aside from espresso based drinks, Coutume Cafe also serves V60 hand drip coffee

But I was here for the Steampunk! These beauties are the Alpha Dominche Steampunks 2.1.
I've never seen anything like it before.

This revolutionary brewing method is said to "unlock flavor profiles that
are hidden by other machines. It offers unprecedented extraction,
temperature control and thermal stability for each cup with unique
brew parameters."

DSC1811

"A Google Nexus 7 tablet is connected to the machine and its operating
system allows the barista to control brewing parameters and gives him the
ability to create, save, and share recipes, making it the most repeatable
brew method in the market." So high-tech!

My Costa Rica Monte Copey. So fruity and berrylicious! Beautifully presented, too!
Coutume Cafe is, indeed, heaven for coffee lovers.

The Roastery by Nozy Coffee ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

DSC1716

I went to so many coffee places in Tokyo this trip and all of them were wonderful,
but if I have to pick just one, this would easily be my favorite

The Roastery by Nozy Coffee

DSC1722

It is a little piece of San Francisco in Tokyo. I love it!!!

DSC1723

It was also where I met a Russian Wolfhound for the very first time

DSC1726

Gosh, I promise you she was bigger than I in all my 5 feet 4 inches,
160-pound glory!!!!!

DSC1728

That night was perfect for sitting outdoors

DSC1782

I especially love this corner area

DSC1734

The Roastery is a single origin coffee shop located on the fashionable
Cat Street in Harajuku

DSC1742

The Coffee Bar ♥

DSC1736

The menu is very simple. They offer 2 kinds of single origin beans daily.
You choose your beans and you choose how you want your coffee.

DSC1741

The pastries looked scrumptious, but I was saving space for dinner

DSC1758

These lamps ♥

DSC1747

More seating along the walls

DSC1761

How cool is that?

DSC1762

At the back of the room is a tasting bar

DSC1776

And a sleek and handsome Probat!

DSC1757

My Brazil Elmer Latte had notes of milk tea and cocoa. I loved it!

DSC1766

The Roastery roasts its own beans and sell them in small batches. They also let you taste
the different varieties so you can decide which you want to take home. I got my 3 favorites:
Costa Rica Bella Vista, Brazil Elmer, and Honduras Integral El Cipres.

The distressed look of the restroom walls!
