Vanilla Cupcake Bakery is practically a life-size dollhouse. When I saw the shop at Glorietta
I just had to go in and take a million pictures.

 

 

But nothing could have prepared me for the cuteness overload inside the Fort Bonifacio branch.
I am so happy GMA News TV chose to do our short interview here.

I didn't want to eat because I just had my makeup done. Lol! But after 5 minutes I finally gave in
and ordered food. It was, after all, embarrassing to hear my stomach growl on national TV.
(How adorable are these Cath Kidson utensils???) 

 

 

Of course I had to choose the messiest dish to eat - noodles! I love Spanish sardines and will
always order anything that has the fish. Vanilla Cupcake Bakery's Spanish Sardines Pasta had 
olives, tomato, and salted egg. I suggest a sprinkling of chili flakes. 

 

 

To save my lipstick which was all gone anyway, I drank my Cafe Mocha
(yum!) with a straw. Lipsticks and I, we have a hate-hate relationship.

 

 

And then they arrived, set up, and asked a few questions.

 

 

The best part came after the short interview and after they took a quick video of me taking pictures of the cupcakes.

And then EATING TIME!!!

I don't normally do this, but she wrote in ink the color of my blog and drew cupcakes and cookies on her sweet note to me.  

Heidi Yu is the sister of my cousin Jordan's classmate. I've never met her but I know for a fact she is a very nice young lady.

 

… Because she sent me cupcakes and cookies! Ha ha ha! :P

 

 

Famous Buttercup Choco Chip Cookie

 

 

You have to be very gentle with this one. So soft it breaks apart at the slightest pressure.
Filled with chocolatey goodness but not at all sweet.

I like that Heidi's cupcakes are soft and moist. The frosting could be less saccharine,
but that's just me. 

 

Other cupcakes flavors are vanilla vanilla, luscious lemon, orange, peach mango, banana nutty caramel, cinnamon cream cheese among others. I can't wait to try her taro, bubblegum, and white chocolate green tea!

Cafe Mocha Cupcakes by Everyday Mom ♥ ♥ ♥

 

I am not a cupcake kinda girl.

I think cupcakes are too dainty and small (and terribly overrated), not fit for a big and chunky person like myselfwholovestoeat.

I am a whole cake girl. 

Make that a 24"x18" if you can, thank you!

But every once in a while, something catches me by surprise.

I can't even begin to tell you how much I adore this Cafe Mocha Cupcake. 
This is a supersoft and supermoist chocolate cake topped with a crown of the lightest
coffee-flavored cream. (Excuse me while I wipe the drool off my keyboard.) 
Every bite just disappears in my mouth, like a beautiful and surreal mocha dream.

The Chocolate Banana Cupcake was just okay. I ate half and put it aside.

 

 

And then I attacked another Cafe Mocha baby cake

 

 

Two gone. Just. Like. That.

 

 

And guess what? Whole Cafe Mocha cakes are available, too! Kim brought one to Mom's birthday.
I kinda like the cupcake version more because it's got so much more cream, hee hee hee.
Just give me 3 pieces at one time at the very least. :)
