Bistro Mondo, Revisited ♥ ♥ ♥

I love the food at Bistro Mondo and have been wanting to bring my family there.

The rich flavors and hearty portions are perfect for us big eaters (okay, my brother and I are the only big eaters) and he loves steak, too, so I thought this would be perfect for his birthday dinner.

Creamy Wild Mushroom Soup - a creamy blend of shiitake, oyster and button mushrooms
topped with enoki mushroom

Chicken Liver Fegatini - chicken liver sauteed in garlic, anchovies, olives and capers
flamed with brandy in a rich red wine sauce

Peppered Wagyu Ribeye Steak

Roasted Leg of Lamb - pugon roasted lamb leg thinly sliced with rosemary juice
served with marbled potatoes cooked in garlic and herbs

Pugon Chicken - half chicken braised in olive oil, garlic and herbs cooked in wood fired oven

Bistro's Special - sliced tomato, smoked bacon, quail eggs finished with fresh basil

 

 

Everything was delicious. Everyone was happy. :)

I can see us going back to this place again and again.
