I really, really wanted to experience the Negresco with all its chichi, frou-frou, kitschy and pizzazz.
But it was August and the whole universe was vacationing in Nice.
There was no room for the tourist who booked last minute.
So Palais de la Mediterranee it is

Love the plush slippers (so I took home the extra pair, hihihi)
My room came with breakfast buffet which I tried on the first morning.
The next two mornings I created my own breakfast buffet at the outdoor markets :)
The spread had the usual breads, nuts, seeds and cereals
Cheeses and cold cuts
Fresh fruits and eggs
Hot dishes, pancakes, omelets
You can enjoy breakfast by the pool
