Zorbing and Ziplining in Boracay ♥ ♥

Zorbing (globe-riding, sphereing, orbing) is the recreation of rolling downhill in an orb, generally made of transparent plastic. Source: Wikipedia

zorb boracayFirst, you go in the orb

zorb boracayThen you roll

zorb boracayOptional: Have your boyfriends/husbands/strangers lie flat on the runway for a bumpier, more exciting ride. Watch out, Lee!

zorb boracayCharlie, you’re next!

There are 2 ways to do it:

27236_422232660930_695505930_5812292_407747_nHydro (unharnessed) – you slide around and get really wet (there’s water in the outer orb)

27236_422232605930_695505930_5812289_1575207_nHarnessed – you are dry and in one place (except for your hair which can end up in your face, your eyes, your nostrils, your mouth. Tie it, ladies, to avoid mortifying Kodak moments!)

zipline boracay

A zip-line (also known as a flying fox, foefie slide, zip wire, aerial runway, aerial ropeslide, death slide or tyrolean crossing) consists of a pulley suspended on a cable mounted on an incline. It is designed to enable a user propelled by gravity to traverse from the top to the bottom of the inclined cable, usually made of stainless steel, by holding on or attaching to the freely moving pulley.
