Things you should know about Mayura Wagyu

DSC6130

Mayura wagyu, burger, coffee and beer-loving people invaded this bright and cheerful
space on Esteban Street last August 2

They lined up to get their tickets

And surrendered their burger claim stubs to our ticket lady Felisse, who sent in their
orders to the kitchen.

The Kitchen (also The Parking Lot. Lol.)
Each burger was cooked upon order to guarantee the best experience. Good things come
only to those who are patient. ;)

Florence and Jamie worked the wagyu patties, Frances seared the foie gras.

When the burgers were ready, Benjie called out the owners' names
so they could collect the trays of wagyu goodness.

Some had it with foie gras, very few had it without

And then they claimed their beverages

Every ticket came with a choice of drink from Yardstick's menu

The Yardstick team was out in full force to support the event. Thanks so much, you guys! :)

I had my favorite at Yardstick - the very strong cold brew with milk. Yum.
Behind my cup is Jen's Yard Shake.

With my very good (and extremely health-conscious) friends Jen and Irwin

Irwin gave me his slab of foie gras which gets me thinking now…
Is he really my friend or my enemy? HMMMM......

But at that very moment, he was my favorite person. JUST LOOK AT THAT.
Goodbye, 10 beautiful years of my life!

A big thank you to everyone who came - friends, family, strangers, new friends, Instagram and Facebook followers, friends of friends, cousins of cousins, just plain burger lovers, coffee lovers, and cyberstalkers (LOL!)… I hope to see you all again in future episodes! :)

With Jane Go, one of the earliest to arrive. This super sweet and thoughtful lady
surprised me with birthday goodies from Orange Whisk and Pink Wasabi.
Thank you, Jane! :)

Proof that I did not finish the whole box by myself!  :P

I also did not finish this chocolate waffle from Yardstick on my own. Promise.
