We arrived early for Achi Leslie's birthday dinner at 2nd's
Thank goodness there is a nicely stocked bar. I am not very much into alcoholic drinks,
but when there's chocolate involved, I turn into a shameless little drunkard!
And look what 2nd's has on its cocktails menu! A S'MORETINI!!!!!!
This vodka, cold cocoa, macaron syrup concoction topped with
toasted marshmallows is my new favorite tini!
Monica also enjoyed her Appletini Tart. It had Absolute Vanilia,
cinnamon vodka, frangelico and apple juice.
Auntie Judy just got her new toy - "The Selfie Stick" - and had way too much fun playing around
with it. She flooded people's news feeds all night with her sexy photos! :P

Emmenthal mash, pineapple chutney, sweet duck jus, sauteed red and white cabbage
2nd's Bistek Tagalog
USDA Prime flat iron steak, grilled tomato, soy calamansi butter sauce,
served with aligue and corn rice pilaf
The Foie Burger
Seared foie gras, crispy jamon serrano, spiced tomato chutney
Beef Rib Adobo
Slow braised beef ribs, garlic, steamed rice, green mango and tomato salsa
2nd's Prime Ribeye, 350g
Ladies who EAT MEAT
(Well, except for Achi Les who is forever on a juice diet)
I recommend the Spinach & Black Truffle Dip, Crispy Duck Confit and my beloved S'moretini!
We got Achi Leslie a Strawberry Shortcake from Mary Grace Cafe.
It was my first time to try it and it was love at first bite! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
