Sunshine Kitchen Ӫ

We were expecting a bright and cheery place in Sunshine Kitchen.

But what greeted us was not so bright and cheery. Well, except for the sunflowers.
The place reeked of used frying oil, too. It was difficult to breathe.

Sunshine Martini and Orange Sunrise

Angulas with cayenne pepper, garlic and olive oil - needed more kick

Creamy crab and shrimp dip with artichokes - the rolls were okay, the dip lacked ooomph

The kitchen staff was so kind to allow us to mix our pizzas

Sunshine Pizza - porchetta, longganisa, ricotta, mozzarella, marinara, arugula, quail eggs.
The pork was smelly. Even a lot of chili oil couldn't mask the foul taste.

Pizza al Nero - squid, cream sauce, ricotta, mozzarella, grana padana.
This tasted better, but still nothing to write home about, except I thought the roasted garlic was pretty.

Happy our waiter missed our order of Porchetta. We couldn't wait to get out of the place.
