Filipino Night at Casa Frances

DSC09070

One Sunday evening Frances invited the whole Fatterside over for a Filipino feast.

To keep up with the theme (actually, we just did not want to wash so many dishes, haha), we ate on banana leaves.

Everything, except for the chicharon, was homecooked by Jenny and Malene.

They are superwomen in the kitchen and the dishes they prepared were even better than what you get in Manila's best Filipino restaurants.

We tried to squeeze in as many people as possible in the 6-seater dining table and ate batch by batch to accommodate all.

I think Gwama was getting a bit claustrophobic. Also, she had no idea about the flowers in her hair.
