Shinjuku has been there like... forever.
It proudly states, on top of every single page of their menu, that they serve "the best RAMEN in town!!!"
We tried four bowls of traditional ramen and a tsukemen.
And our verdict is: NO. It it not, and does not even come close to, the best RAMEN in town!!!
Sorry, dear Granddaddy of Ramen.
But your broths tasted instant, and your eggs, ohmygulay, they were terribly pale and perfectly hard boiled, which is. Just. So. Very. Wrong.
