Early Bird Breakfast Club ♥ ♥


Auntie Judy almost disowned me when she found out I chose a breakfast place for our dinner.

But why not? I thought the place was really cute. Plus I love breakfast food.
And because of that, I thought everyone else did, too. Hee hee hee.

I don't know how, but she managed to convince our neighbors to share with her some of 
their dinner… oops, I mean breakfast!

Sunny Salpicao and Peanut Butter and Caramel French Toast.

We also shared with them our Bacon Twist. It came with a shot of maple syrup for dipping.
Sadly, the bacon twists were not "baked to crisp perfection" as the menu promised.
They were soggy and rubbery. :(

Steak and Hash - there's no way you can go wrong with tenderloin especially if it is
wrapped in bacon and covered with wild mushrooms and mushroom-brandy cream.
This tasted okay, except it was not the prettiest sight, swimming in blood and all.
The potatoes tasted like they were fried in overused oil.

Viva Longganisa - sweet and spicy

Longganisa Crisp - this was actually Viva Longganisa breaded and deep-fried.
Again, the taste of overcooked oil ruined it for us :(

Chorizo and Mushroom Risotto - and finally, something I love to pieces!
Rich, creamy and very, very tasty! If you have to order only one single dish at Early Bird, 
promise me you'll order this!

Nutella Cheesecake - I didn't taste cheese, and I definitely didn't taste any Nutella,
but the model-thin girls I was with loved this because it was light and not too sweet.
I thought the presentation was really neat.

Choco Banana Berry French Toast - I love anything filled with nutella and drizzled in chocolate

Early Bird Signature Pancakes - homemade American pancakes with Early Bird's
unique blend of fruit-infused cream butters and Vermont maple syrup.
Not bad but not spectac.



When we were ordering our desserts, our good-hearted server gently warned us that servings are huge and that we might not be able to finish all three.

But we are dessert monsters!!! 



There were more misses than hits, but the chorizo risotto and the nutella filling saved the meal!
