Finally, a Yabu closer to home! Yay!
The Sesame Seed Ritual
I love all of Yabu's sauces, especially the goma. It took 33 years worth of self-control for me not
to guzzle the whole bottle.
Mom had the Premium Tonkatsu Set which came with miso soup, pickles, unlimited cabbage,
unlimited rice and pineapple slices
The premium set uses Kurobuta Pork which is hailed the kobe beef of pork
It was tender and flavorful
I had the Rosu Katsu Curry with Fried Egg...
… and about 6 refills of my favorite shredded cabbage heavily drizzled with sesame dressing
and soy vinaigrette.
Yabu gave out complimentary ice cream because they were still on soft opening that day.
Guess which one was mine… You are correct! BOTH!!! :D
The restroom wall was filled with quotes from blogs, newspaper and magazine articles.
I didn't see anything from jin loves to eat. Pfffffttttt… :P
But I did meet Rhui, the prettiness who approached my table and asked to have a photo taken with me!
She said she's been a follower since 2009 and learned about Yabu from my blog. I so kilig. :)
