Just arrived Lyon and my room wasn't ready so I thought I'd do some sightseeing up at the Basilica Notre Dame de Fourviere.

I HAD to go in. Jin Loves to Eat believes it's bad luck not to buy something sweet to eat at every first
patisserie one sees in every new city he visits. Plus, the shop is so pretty in pink!
There were many cutesy little things to choose from
Cakes, pastries, tarts, eclairs...
But I just felt like having a pain au chocolat.
It was blah. Wasn't light and flaky, wasn't chocolatey.
Ate half and gave the rest to this man chillin' on the bench
I knew I should have gotten that chocolate pouch thing.
