Antonio's, A Fourth Time ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

After the lazy afternoon at Discovery Country Suites, we drive up to Antonio’s for another leisurely meal.

I come here for lunch often but haven’t done dinner in ages.

I’ve forgotten how truly enchanting the restaurant is at night.

The weather is cool and dry, perfect for wining and dining under the twinkling stars

Tonyboy welcomes us with his homemade limoncello

And this yummy Mushroom Cheese Soufflé

The fresh dalandan juice is refreshing as always. Ice cubes are made using dalandan juice, too!

We order my old favorites for our entrees – rack of lamb and duck confit.

But first, some bread, soup and salad.

Black olive toast

House Salad with add on Pan Seared Foie Gras

Roasted Red Capsicum Soup

Herbed Roasted Rack of Lamb with Cardamom Beurre Blanc with Pumpkin Sage Risoni -
as tender as ever

Duck Leg Confit, Orange-Grand Marnier Beurre Blanc with Gratin Potato, Pigeon Peas -
meat is dry and chewy tonight, but it is saved by the skin!

Ventisquero Queulat Cabernet Sauvignon                           Tyrrell's Old Winery Pinot Noir
                           Gran Reserva 2008                                                                              2009

Poached Pear in Port Wine with Vanilla Ice Cream

Watermelon and Mango Sorbet

Tarragon Tea to wash it all down

Next time I’ll wake up early and come here for breakfast.
