Miami Sights

So this is what you do when you have only 3 days in Miami.

You get on a bus and be a tourist.

IMG 1400

You spend 4 hours driving around the city in this sightseeing van

In the spring and summer seasons, the pool is filled and drained daily!

IMG 1419

Maximo Gomez Park or "Domino Park" in Little Havana

IMG 1424

From opening till closing, the park is filled with senior citizens chitchatting and playing dominoes

IMG 1420

By the Domino Park is a souvenir shop selling all kinds of Cuban goodies including
Cuban cigars and, of course, dominoes!

IMG 1421

Cuban coffee for us to sample. So good I bought a cup!

I miss Miami

Queso de Bola Cheesecake by Irene ♥ ♥ ♥

This was how Irene's Queso de Bola Cheesecake looked like when I took it out of the box:

IMG 6015

I know it's totally no-frills, but OMG the plain jane smelled absolutely diva!

IMG 6046

I decided to prettify it and take a cropped shot

IMG 6047

Cropped shot or else it would look like this and you'll all know what I did.
Shame.

IMG 6035

Oh come on, tell me you wouldn't do the same when face-to-face with this
rich, creamy, cheesy indulgence

Order now and test thy willpower

Singapore Food Republic ♥

IMG 4980

Most of the items we wanted were out of stock.

The server came back to us a few times to relay the sorry news. One dish at a time.

We hadn't even started, but the dining experience was already ruined 68.53%.

IMG 4988

Bah Kut Teh - there was no other flavor but of too much salt

IMG 4991

Chawan Mushi

The food was not even great, nothing you can't do at home.

Service could use a lot of improvement, too.

The only thing I truly enjoyed was my hot and sweet drink:
