798 Art District is one of my favorite places in Beijing. I can spend the whole day just walking around the industrial chic warehouse-type buildings and sipping mochas inside the many coffee shops in the compound.
It is a must-visit for all the art lovers and not-so-art-lovers traveling to the city.
If you are geographically challenged like I am, it is very easy to get lost. Even with the map
and sufficient Mandarin skills I still couldn't find my way around! Lol!
Graffiti in the parking lot
Graffiti on the bus
Guess who's responsible for all the graffiti!
Couples taking their pre-nup photos
Ooops! I think she ate too much for lunch! :D
A post outside a ceramics shop
I call this "Ang Babae sa Septic Tank"
I see red dinosaurs
Don't worry, they're caged!
A coffee shop called "The High Place"
Where you drink coffee at a high place amongst tree branches!
Another coffee shop
More coffee shop! Check out the army of white bottles on the table.
It's my favorite fresh yogurt drink and you MUST have it when in Beijing!
My Cafe Mocha at Darcy Cafe. See separate post here.
Woman in red

How girly is this skeleton
Spare me a piece of bread
Painting that reminds me of me

Different elements of nature. Spot the red pumps.
Fire and Wind
Snow and Rain
Even garbage is art
Please don't litter!
The most amusing thing we saw that day was this life-size toilet sign
OF COURSE WE HAD TO DO THIS! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!
OHMYGODDD The guy who I asked to take our picture almost dropped my camera laughing
and laughing! His girlfriend ended up taking the photo because he couldn't stop shaking
from laughter. It was too hilarious!!!
Other people started to do the same
But not all men in 798 Art District were as cool as he.
Beware of this naked drunk homeless dude
