I haven't been back to Duo since maybe… ummm... 5 years ago?
Well, I only have two things to say.
1. There's a reason why I haven't gone back.
2. The reason hasn't changed.
Lol.
In fairness, the two appetizers we had were good.
Everything else went downhill starting with the soup.
Escargot with Mushrooms - this was off menu but should be on the menu.
French snails with shiitake in a very tasty and creamy sauce. If you have to order
one dish at Duo, this is it. You must ask for bread to mop up the juices.
Baked Oysters Rockefeller - no way you can mess up oysters, bacon and cheese
Because I like dirt on my seafood :)
French Onion Soup - diabetes in a bowl
Tessie Tomas Salad - the prawns were terribly, terribly overcooked
Seafood Medley Platter - everything tasted the same - bass, dory, and shrimps -
except the shrimps had really thick and floury batter covering them.
I felt horrible after eating my share.
I HEARD the steaks here are good.
I don't know.
