When we saw the line in front of Sushi Dai, we thought it was our lucky day

That is, until we were pointed in the direction of the queue around the corner.
There was a second half to the procession. Oops.

But stuffing our faces with our stash of Marutake Tamagoyaki made waiting a lot more fun.
Plus the people at Sushi Dai were so considerate to give out hot cups of tea.

Of course, peeking into Daiwa Sushi a few doors down and taking onehundredmillion
candid shots of my supercrush sushi chef made waiting my new favorite activity.
