I was just wandering around when I saw the line

A choo-choo train of people waiting for food. I am extremely drawn to this kind of thing and
immediately positioned myself at the end of the line.

The menu is simple and showcases the local delicacies of Nice

 

 

I was still very full after a big lunch and 3 scoops of ice cream, but I wanted to try as many dishes as I could so I ordered all these...

Socca - a very thin crepe made with chickpea flour

Pissaladiere - no-cheese pizza topped with caramelized onion, garlic and anchovy

Tourte de Blettes - sweet tart made with Swiss chard, pine nuts and raisins

The socca and pissaladiere didn't sweep me off my feet, but I really enjoyed the Swiss chard tart. Imagine, vegetables as dessert!

I love communal tables and happily shared my food and all the extra calories with my table mates
