It is 10:30pm when my plane lands in JFK, 11:30pm when I arrive in Manhattan. I drop my bags off and run to Shake Shack.
Whew. I make it before it closes at midnight. Pant, pant.
This is why I love New York. 11:45pm and the place is full of life.
AND hungry people like me.

Cheeseburger and a ‘shroom burger topped with lettuce, tomato and ShackSauce.
I tell ya, this is the burger of all burgers. I wolf this down in exactly 3 minutes 18.5 seconds. It’s that good.
Cheese Fries – topped with Shack cheddar and American cheese sauce
These are just alright. I’m still a McDonald’s Twister Fries kinda girl.
Cranberry Cashew Custard – this is yum-o although a bit sweet (drink plenty of water
is the trick) I only wish there were more cashew bits.
But instead of water, I drink this. Because Baby, it’s freezing outside!
Salted Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate – diabetes in a cup!
I walk around the city to burn the calories and couldn’t resist taking a photo with this pumpkin mess on 34th and 7th. Ya, coz I’m a witch.
