Delicious Kitchen 美味廚 ♥ ♥

How do you know you are a typical Fil-Chi?

1. When you travel to Hong Kong and stay only at the Excelsior or Park Lane or any of the 3 Marco Polo Hotels.

2. When you travel to Hong Kong and eat pork chop rice at Delicious Kitchen at least once.

Check out the photos by Delicious Kitchen’s door.

Now check out Jin eating ALL of that.

IMG_0389Fried Pork Chop on Vegetable Rice 排骨菜飯 – pork chop is tender, tasty, and sweet.
Rice is a bit oily, but hey, there’s vegetables in it. Remember, it is all about balance.

IMG_0394Vegetable and Pork Wonton 菜肉雲吞 – love that the skin is the right thickness and love that there is a balance of meat and veggies in each wonton. Tastes best dipped in the restaurant’s homemade hot sauce.

IMG_0397My cha chaan teng essential: hot milk tea. But you can find better ones out there.

Mom, me, and 99 pieces of wonton to bring home to Manila

Okay, we skipped the fried wonton, but only because I’m saving room for dessert.

After seeing my parents off, I continue the indulgence up at the Shaw Ballroom.
