Stockton Place, Revisited ♥ ♥ ♥

DSC0957

Stockton Place is the perfect restaurant for me. I love the cozy size (except when I can't get
a reservation), the black and white theme, warm service, and of course, the food.
Naturally, this is where we brought Auntie Natalie when she came to visit from Vancouver.

I've already memorized the menu by heart and can order without looking at the cheat board.

We had all my favorites (foie gras salad, portobello tart, pork belly, and steak), plus two orders of the scallops because the Stockton Place virgins wanted to try.

Seared scallops with lime creme fraiche, roasted peppers and caramelized tomato tart.
I think this is a most photogenic dish, but scallops really do not do much for my taste buds
(except when they come in sashimi form). The tomato tart, however, was quite enjoyable.

The next five dishes are rated four hearts in my book.

Stockton Place makes champion steak. They get my preferred doneness perfect each time.

Do NOT start on these crispy potatoes if you have weak self-control.
It is impossible to stop.

Of course, desserts! I loved the first two.
